The solo has been performed as part of the graduation "solo project" at SEAD, Salzburg. In collaboration with HODWORKS and Csaba Molnár
Solos is a joint performance by three of HODWORKS’ most prominent artists, divided into separate chapters. The acts’ single-focused attention transcends classical theatrical boundaries to connect with the audience in an authentic and engaging way. In each act, the dancers encounter the same audience again and again, always presenting a new, unexpected character. Their ways of connecting ranges from the most intimate to the most distantly ironic and fictional forms. All of this is woven through horizontally by the musical accompaniment. In the end, instead of a linear narrative emerging, we discover a fragmented and intriguing story-telling which has moment for each of us where we can feel personally seen.
